Invisible Threads was a collaboration with visual artist Rachel Barron (UK/SE) in Göteborg / SE 2019.
We created a site-specific installation and audio-visual performance on three floors at Remfabriken - a former weaving mill, which currently exists as a museum with its looms, transmissions and tools left in their original places. Responding to the repetitive rhythms and movements of the industrial machinery, Invisible Threads encompassed live and pre-recorded sound, moving image, architectural and sculptural interventions within the factory environment.
Kindly supported by Göteborg Stad Projectstöd Pronto and Föreningen Göteborgs Remfabrik.
